I’m Alex, a multi-disciplinary creative currently living in the Springfield, MO area. After diving headfirst into Illustrator and Photoshop CS3 in 2008, I was hooked. What followed is over a decade of dedication, experimentation and an overwhelming passion for all things design. From branding projects to card games and everything in between, the simple joy of creating is a driving factor behind every project I’m a part of.
When I’m not creating, I’m usually outdoors spending time with my amazing wife and our two dogs.
BigPxl is a mid-sized full-service digital marketing agency with a focus on lead-generation through paid advertising, web design, video and SEO. My role involves leading the team through Creative Direction for web, branding, video and digital publication projects while ensuring we exceed our projects goals.
417 Magazine is a regional lifestyle publication for the Springfield Metro Area that has an average of 140,000 monthly readers. While at 417, I was responsible for all advertising photography including profiles, portraits, lifestyle, food, spaces and corporate photography.
Vine Church is based in Carbondale, IL and has an average weekend attendance of 2,000 people. As the Lead Designer, I led the volunteer-based design team, oversaw and executed all in-house print production and designed promotional materials for all internal and external events.
My focus while with the Chamber of Commerce was to conceptualize and create branding for local events that promoted businesses and economical growth.
